ARE YOU CONFUSED AS TO WHY WE ARE DOING THIS?
Don't worry. As students it was confusing too, but here's the underlying message. Learning and teaching are cyclic. By refining exemplary essays, we learn the good and the bad things from what an individual striving for perfection faces. We enhance our understanding of literature by being exposed to different perspectives, and learn how to improve aspects that are lacking in writing, by simply observing it. Hence we create a steadfast and effective literary monster out of ourselves, the students.
SYMBOL TO REPRESENT THE LEARNING EXEMPLIFIED BY OUR GROUP
An individual is supported by it's nature, described by the metaphor of the tree. Without the support of nature (which in this project is the individual refining their work), one may not fulfil literary self-actualization for they would be devoid of the interaction with that unique perspective. Literature coincides with this concept of nature because they are both dependant on each other to fulfil the others needs, just the way we students have to act cohesively in order to take ourselves to the next level.
